Cosa Youth  scholarship

 

 The confederation of Oregon School Administrators offers 12 awards at $1,000 each for students who plan to enroll in any 2-year or 4 year public or private college in Oregon. Southern Oregon University Scholarships

 

Presidential scholarship- this $5,000 award is a merit award that is renewable for 3 additional years. Must have a 3.75 GPA with a combined SAT of 1180 in the critical reading and math . Must demonstrate a range of interest through leadership and extracurriculars.

 

Laurels scholarship this $2,500award is a merit award it is renewable for 3additional years. Must have 3.5 GPA with a combined SAT 1100 in critical reading and math. Must demonstrate a range of interests through leadership and extracurriculars.

 

Diversity scholarship

Full undergraduate tuition for up to 4 years . Must meet SOU’s regular requirements . Must show how you will contribute to SOU’s diversity and be active in community ,school and extracurricular activities . Presidential scholarships-$1,000 to 3,500 renewable award for students within a minimum 3.4 GPA, 1000 Sat(CR & Math)

 

WOU foundation scholarship criteria vary by scholarship , but generally include academic merit, extracurricular activities and quality of application and personal essay.

 

Leadership and service scholarship incoming WOU students selected for award based on the WOU general scholarship application will receive a one time award of $1,000 to support service learning

Eastern Oregon University scholarships

 

Easter Oregon offers the following scholarships to incoming freshmen.

Freshmen University Scholar Awards- students that have a 3.5 GPA and apply by December 1st qualify for priority scholarship consideration

 

Diversity Achievement Scholarship-students from diverse ethnic backgrounds. First generation in college ,low income ,or have unique life experiences. Awards range from $500 to $1,500 per year

Valedictorian Achievement Scholarship- Oregon high school graduate that has distinction of Valedictorian will receive additional money above the university scholar award.

 

Visual and performing art scholarships. Students majoring in music .art or theatre that arrange auditions.

 

Service to Country Award. Students who are currently serving or are veterans of the U.S Armed Services are eligible to apply

The purpose of the Winston –Dillard Area chamber of Commerce Student first

Citizen Recognition Award is to acknowledge the contribution of grade 12 students to the community.

50% of the value is for community activities.

Douglas County Farm Bureau Scholarship

 

The applicant must be either pursuing a field of study in agriculture or forestry or be a child/grandchild of a voting Douglas County Farm Bureau member. Award amount of 1,000 each the candidate must demonstrate an interest in agriculture. Interests can be demonstrated through school courses taken ,4-H activities, participation in county fair activities, involvement with family farm/ranch,and or community/employment activities.

Rotary Club Of Roseburg

The Roseburg Rotary Club will be offering high school seniors six (6) college scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each. Three (3) of the scholarships will be given to students wishing to attend U.C.C. The remaining (3) scholarships will be awarded to students wishing to attend colleges or Universities other than U.C.C. The scholarships may be used for tuition, Fees, room and board or books. Awards may not be carried over into future years.

 

Students applying for colleges or universities other than U.C.C. should have no less than a 3.5 GPA. Those applying for U.C.C. should have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

 

Scholarship winners and there families will be honored at a regular Rotary meeting.
